Up to 15 people, mostly patients, are feared trapped after a roof collapsed hospital in the Indian city of Bhopal central.
Collapsed in central India on Friday after its roof collapsed, injuring at least eight people, an official said.
More than a dozen people were rescued after being trapped in the rubble of the Kasturba Gandhi hospital in Bhopal, capital of Madhya Pradesh, said State Minister Babu Lal Gaur. None of the injuries were serious.
Rescue teams moved in heavy machinery to reduce the surgical female starry ceiling Kasturba Hospital Ward, spokesman for the Vinodanand Jha hospital Friday.
"Twelve of the 15 patients are feared trapped and rescue operation is" Jha said, adding that rescuers dug five survivors.
The debris rained held in the parish, trapping after the roof collapsed around 14:30 (7:00 p.m. GMT), said Jha.
He was unable to say how the accident occurred at the hospital, which is run by the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. Belonging to the enterprise

A member of the ambulance crew said the roof collapsed without warning and fell "in a shower of debris of bricks and mortar."
